The Bill Turner School Football High School knock-out competitions, Bill Turner Cup and the Girls’ Bill Turner Trophy, are for students 15-years-and-under, contested by schools from Cairns (Qld) to Geelong (Vic) across the football federations of Queensland, Northern NSW, NSW, the ACT and Victoria.
The very first Bill Turner Cup was played in 1979 with the Bill Turner Trophy, then under the banner of the NSW CHS, first contested in 1991.
The 2024 competitions are quickly approaching the pointy end of the season with the national semi-finals and final to be contested at the Lake Macquarie Regional Football Facility (SPEERS POINT, NSW) on Tuesday 3 and Wednesday 4 September.
“Over the years the Bill Turner School Football competitions have evolved to the point where the competition is held in high regard in the Australian Football community and is recognised as one of the largest team sport competitions in the world,” said Lloyd Turner, son of the late Bill Turner OA.
All eight (8) matches, over the two days, will be able to be Streamed on the KommunityTV channel with a News Corp Australia subscription.
