Referees

On behalf of every person associated with the Bill Turner Cup & Trophy we welcome all referees to our competition.

Without these dedicated officials, the series could not operate with the efficiency it has since its inception.

As a common courtesy, referees should be paid, preferably in cash, for their services, prior to kickoff.

The rate of payment will depend on the charges set by local associations.

Should the match be part of a promotion, payment of the referees shall come directly from the gate takings.

Should officials choose not to accept fees, their wishes must be respected.

Referees must always be treated with respect. This is an expected responsibility of all teachers, players, students and supporters (see Code of Behaviour).
