The 2018 National Final Series of the 40th Bill Turner Cup (Boys) and the 28th Bill Turner Trophy (Girls) has been contested by eight – four boys and four girls – 15-years-and-under High School Football teams at the Lake Macquarie Regional Football Facility, Speers Point on Tuesday September 4 and Wednesday September 5.
From over 850 high schools (450 boys and 400 girls) stretching from Cairns to Melbourne, all NSW regions and the ACT the knockout tournament will reach this year’s pinnacle when, on Tuesday (September 4), the teams contest semi-finals, firstly the Bill Turner Trophy then the Bill Turner Cup.
The National Finals were contested by the winners of each semi-final on Wednesday (September 5) at Lake Macquarie Regional Football Facility, Park Street, Speers Point, NSW.
On Tuesday September 4 Lake Macquarie City Council Mayor Kay Fraser hosted the traditional Civic Reception to open the Finals Series.
