LISMORE: Wednesday 21 May, 2014. BILL TURNER CUP.
Trinity Catholic College of Lismore today beat St John’s of Woodlawn 4-2 on penalties after the match was locked at 3-all at the end of regulation and golden goal extra-time.

St John’s led 2-1 at half time and 3-1 in the 33rd minute but Trinity fought back to draw level in the last minute of play.

Extra time, with a player dropping off each five minutes, was end to end but the stalemate was unbroken.

The ensuing penalty shoutout was required to find the winner with Trinity to now face Alstonville High in the next round.
