Eight Queensland High Schools teams, four in both the Boys and Girls, will contest Round of 16 and Quarter Finals matches at AJ Kelly Park, Kippa Ring – home ground of Peninsula Power FC next week. The eventual winners progress to the National Final Series.

The 2017 National Final Series of the 39th Bill Turner Cup (Boys) and the 27th Bill Turner Trophy (Girls) will be contested by eight – four boys and four girls – of 15-years-and-under High School Football teams at the Lake Macquarie Regional Football Facility, Speers Point on Tuesday 5 September and Wednesday 6 September.

From over 800 high schools (400 boys and 400 girls) stretching from Cairns to Melbourne, the knockout tournament will reach this year’s pinnacle where on the Tuesday (5 September) the teams will play semi-finals, firstly the Bill Turner Trophy then the Bill Turner Cup with the National Finals to be contested by the winners of each semi-final on Wednesday (6 September).

Bill Turner Cup (Boys) & Bill Turner Trophy (Girls) 15yr-and-under School Football Tuesday 8 and Wednesday 9, August
Winners progress to the National Final Series
Format: Each team will play Queensland semi-finals on Tuesday 8 August with the winners to play the Queensland Final (National Quarter Final) on Wednesday 9 August. The losers will play a Queensland Third Place Play-off, also on the Wednesday.

1.30pm 3pm:  Bill Turner Cup Qld semi-finals on Tuesday 8 August

Chancellor (Sunshine Coast) v Cavendish Road (Brisbane)
St Augustine’s (Cairns) v Toowoomba Grammar School

Qld Finals

10am  Trophy 3rd Place Playoff

11.30am   Cup 3rd Place Playoff

1pm  Trophy Final

2:45pm   Cup Final
