Cavendish Road State High School defeated Ipswich Grammar 2 -0 last night to become the Queensland area champions. They become the first boys team to qualify for this years Bill Turner Cup Final Series which will be held at Lake Macquarie (Newcastle) on September 6 and 7.
The Cavendish Road girls team have also qualified for the Finals Series, by becoming the Queensland area champions in the Bill Turner Trophy. They beat Harristown 4-2. Congratulations to Cavendish Road.
