KINGSCLIFF Tuesday 23 July 2013: Trinity College of Lismore became the second team from the area to advance to the round of 16 in the tournament with a 4-1 win over Kingscliff High School today.
Last week St John’s Woodlawn advanced in the Bill Turner Cup and Trinity has now advanced in the Bill Turner Trophy.
Today Trinity, after at times struggling to score more that once in previous matches, guided the ball into the opposition’s net on four occasions but the home team responded later in the contest to show they were not going to let the Lismore girls have it all their way.
Trinity will now play Woolgoolga, away, for the right to contest the quarter finals.
