LISMORE: Thursday 18 July, 2013 St John’s College Woodlawn have won their way through to the round of 16 with a 3-0 win over Tamworth’s Oxley High today.
Played at Richards Oval, Lismore after the school’s ground was deemed too wet for play, the match was entertaining with three first half goals to the home side.
Oxley improved their attempts on goal in the second half but were unfortunate not to apply pressure, by the way of goals, on the St John’s outfit.
St John’s were rewarded with strikes by Joel Monnecelli (2minute), Jack Watson (26minute) and captain Tom Millar (29minute).
